Definition of Show/Proformance
and Pet/Proformance/Companion Quality in Australian Shepherd Litters
Show/Performance/Breeding
Quality:
These are the pups I feel are exceptional examples of the breed. There
are no disqualifying faults or known hereditary defects affecting its
suitability for breeding. They are sold with full AKC and ASCA registration
papers, and with hip/eye/DQ guarantees. Puppies are sold on co-ownership
until passing OFA and at least two yearly CERF exams and submitting verification
to breeders.
Performance/Pet/Companion Quality:
These are the pups I consider to be not as structurally correct as show
quality, who are physically sound and make wonderful companions, but who
would not necessarily improve upon the next generation. These pups are
not to EVER be bred. They are sold with limited registration, meaning
that offspring are not eligible for registration, and these dogs may not
compete in AKC or ASCA conformation events (except ASCA A-Ch program),
but are eligible to compete in all performance events. These pups are
sold on Spay/Neuter contracts, and with hip/eye guarantees.
Definition of Competitve/Performance/Breeding
and Pet/Performance/Companion Quality in Border Collie Litters
Competitive/Performance/Breeding
Quality:
These are the pups I feel are exceptional examples of the breed. There
are no disqualifying faults or known hereditary defects affecting its
suitability for breeding. They also show outstanding promise in puppy
testing for proformance events (herding, agility etc...) They are sold
with full AKC and ABCA registration papers, and with hip/eye/DQ guarantees.
Puppies are sold on co-ownership until passing OFA and at least two yearly
CERF exams and submitting verification to breeder. To protect the integretity
of our breeding program we are very selective where these pups are placed.
We will be happy to discuss with anyone the possibility of aquiring one
from us.
Please note that
we often are willing to place a competative/performance puppy into a home
where it will be spayed or neutered. The quality of the home is more important
than the titles it could aquire or pups it could produce in the future.
Performance/Pet/Companion
Quality:
These are the pups I consider to be structurally correct, but are not
as outstanding as some of the pups with a temperment that is more geared
toward performance. These puppies are physically sound and make wonderful
companions, but would not necessarily improve upon the next generation.
These pups are not to EVER be bred. They are sold with limited registration,
meaning that any offspring from the dog is not eligible for registration.
They cannot compete in the AKC breed conformation ring, but are eligible
to compete in all performance events. These pups are sold at a reduced
price on Spay/Neuter contracts, with hip/eye guarantees.
